By using CVCraftery, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. About the Service

CVCraftery is a free, web-based tool that generates ATS-optimized resumes, analyzes keyword match scores against job descriptions, and optionally uses AI to enhance resume content. The service is provided free of charge and requires no registration.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use CVCraftery only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent resume information intended to deceive employers
Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to make bulk or rapid requests to the service
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the service
Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or violates third-party rights
Use the service in any way that could harm, overload, or impair its infrastructure
Use the AI features to generate misleading credentials or fabricated work experience

3. AI-Generated Content — Important Disclaimer

CVCraftery uses third-party AI models to enhance resume content. AI-generated text may contain inaccuracies, hallucinations, or suggestions that do not accurately reflect your experience. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before submitting any resume to an employer. CVCraftery accepts no liability for consequences arising from inaccurate AI output.

4. ATS Score Accuracy

ATS scores provided by CVCraftery are estimates based on keyword matching against the job description you provide. They do not represent the scoring of any specific employer’s ATS system. A high score on CVCraftery does not guarantee a high score with any employer’s system or an interview. Scores are provided for guidance only.

5. No Warranty

CVCraftery is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated files will meet your requirements.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CVCraftery and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity, loss of income, or reputational harm, arising from your use of or inability to use the service or reliance on AI-generated content.

7. Your Data and Generated Files

You retain ownership of all personal data and content you submit. Generated PDF and DOCX files are stored temporarily (deleted within 1 hour) and are accessible only via a unique randomly generated link. We do not claim any ownership or rights over your resume content. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Third-Party Services

The AI enhancement feature relies on third-party providers (Google Gemini, Groq, and/or Anthropic). Their services are subject to their own terms and conditions. CVCraftery is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services.

9. Availability and Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time; the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
